Privacy policy

This English version is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
This policy explains what personal data KAVDAL processes when you visit kavdal.com, write to us or book a meeting: why, for how long, with whom, and what your rights are. It applies Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

In short
- No cookies, no ad trackers, so no consent banner.
- Audience measurement with no cookies and no profiling (Cloudflare Web Analytics).
- The booking tool, the only embedded third-party service, loads after you click.
- Your data is never sold or used for advertising.
Browsing and hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). To serve pages and protect the site against attacks, Cloudflare technically processes your IP address and information about your browser.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing an available and secure site (article 6.1.f GDPR). Retention: the period Cloudflare applies to its technical logs, described in its privacy policy.
Audience measurement
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are read. It sets no cookies, writes nothing to your browser storage and builds no profile. It sends us no data that identifies you.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring the site’s audience to improve it (article 6.1.f GDPR).
Contact form and emails
The contact form opens your own email app with a message ready to send: nothing is sent until you click “Send” in your email app. We then receive your name, email address, company name, message and any files you attach.
Purpose: replying to you and, if you wish, preparing a proposal. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (article 6.1.b GDPR). Retention: three years after our last exchange, then deletion.
Emails are hosted by Purelymail, our email provider.
Booking
The booking calendar is provided by Cal.com, Inc. (United States). It only opens after you click a “Book a call” button. You then send Cal.com your name, email and chosen slot, and Cal.com may set its own cookies, needed for the booking.
Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (article 6.1.b GDPR). As Cal.com is based in the United States, the safeguards for this transfer outside the European Union are described in its privacy policy.
Demos
The demo dashboards are rendered by this site itself, from fictional data: no third-party service is called, no data about you is collected and no cookie is set.
Our clients’ data
Data we process during a project (your files, your tools) is processed on your behalf, as a processor within the meaning of article 28 GDPR, under the terms of the contract and, where applicable, a data processing agreement.
Recipients
Your data is processed by KAVDAL and by the following providers, each for its own purpose:
- Cloudflare, Inc.: site hosting and cookie-free audience measurement;
- Cal.com, Inc.: booking, after your click;
- Purelymail: email (receiving and sending emails).
No data is sold or transferred.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to set instructions for what happens to it after your death.
To exercise them, write to contact@kavdal.com. We reply within one month. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and reads nothing from your device: that is why no consent banner appears. Only the booking tool, if you choose to open it, may set its own cookies, after your click.
